VTCT Level 4 IPL and Laser Diploma Course
VTCT Level 4 Laser and IPL Diploma Course is internationally accredited by the VTCT and is supported by the National Occupational Standards (NOS) and in accordance with OFQUAL and the VTCT.
This course is aimed at Level 3 qualified practitioners and those wishing to progress to aesthetics and advanced cosmeceuticals.
Level 2 and 3 related VTCT Units:
Wax Depilation Course and Accredited Electrical Epilation Course and or Accredited Electrical Facials Course also enables progression onto the VTCT Level 4 IPL & Laser course VTCT Level 4 IPL and Laser Diploma Course.
VTCT Level 4 IPL and Laser Diploma Course
This is a FAST TRACK 2 day lesson based course, which requires some home study, completion of subject work and subject related practice in order to gain a high level of experience. (There will be extra time to be allocated for assessments)

Client care and Communication in beauty related industries
This unit covers all safety and health related issues of client care, how to adapt a treatment to suit each clients needs and to be able to effectively communicate with your client about realistic expectations and target goals.
Laser and Light Treatments for Hair Reduction
This unit will help you define suitability of each client and prepare the correct treatment plan to suit them. You will learn to use the right equipment and correct settings according to skin types.
This unit will teach you the correct Removal techniques for:
- Lip
- Chin
- Underarm
- Bikini
- Half leg
- Full leg
Laser and Light treatments for Skin Rejuvenation
This unit teaches Intense Pulsed Light and Laser for the use of photo-rejuvenation of the skin. This includes learning skills to treat different skin imperfections.
Skin Imperfections include:
- Telangiectasia
- Spider Naevi blood spots
- Fine lines
- Photo ageing
- uneven pigmentation
- colour and texture
- Campbell de Morgan
- Other body areas with lesions suitable for treatment
Related Anatomy and Physiology
The study and certification of Anatomy and Physiology is a pre-requisite required in order to legally carry out treatments as a working therapist. It allows a therapist to recognise how their treatment can effect and improve bodily functions.
