Who is the ITEC Cosmetic Needling Course qualification for?

The aim of this unit is to develop learners’ knowledge, understanding and practical skills when using cosmetic skin needling techniques, with needles up to 0.5mm for the face and up to 1mm for the body. It covers the skills involved in providing a thorough consultation to establish client suitability for treatment and also the knowledge on how to formulate a specific treatment plan tailored to suit individual client needs. Learners will also develop the knowledge required to provide pre and posttreatment advice and post care to ensure the client receives the full benefit of the treatment

What is an ITEC Diploma?

ITEC is an Internationally recognised certificate under the umbrella of The VTCT. It is fully recognised and insurable worldwide. Salon, Spa and Cruise Ship often request this level of accreditation. This is a Level 4 Diploma which allows you to progress onto the higher Aesthetic Levels 5-7.

With the new legislations being introduced by the government and the Councils now requesting these higher levels of qualification, it is import to safeguard yourself in the world of aesthetics in the future.

Are there any pre-requisites to attending this course?

VTCT Skills ITEC Course Level 3 Certificate in Access to Aesthetic Therapies, NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent

How do I complete this course?

The AATT will provide you with comprehensive resources accessed in your online portal once the course has been booked. You are free to study this at your leisure and in your own time. There will be 5 lessons which will be booked to suit your availability here at The AATT. We offer weekdays or weekends and you can book these dates back to back, one or two times a week or whatever is best for you.

Once you have completed your lessons you will be required to do the following:

The IQA will visit The AATT on a convenient date where you will perform treatments whilst being observed, you will be questioned regarding your revision assignment and will sit multiple choice exam/s
