VTCT Unit Professional Skincare and Facials

This two day course allows you to be fully equipped to become a professional Facialist

The 1^st lesson: to understand the benefits of using advanced skincare products, product ingredients, cosmeceuticals, and dealing with problem skins such as broken capillaries, scarring, superficial fine lines and wrinkles and an overall improvement in the appearance of the skin. The 2^nd lesson you will be taught a 60 minute full facial using advanced facial uplift massage techniques written exclusively for application in 5 star spa’s across the world.

The AATT bespoke dates to suit you, so if you do not find a date to suit you, let us know what dates you would like to book and we will do our best to work around you, weekdays and weekends.

The VTCT Unit Professional Skincare and Facials course will enable you to gain insurance and to provide Facials at a professional level. The NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy has this subject within its criteria. This course is for those only wishing to do the Professional Skincare and Facials subject which is studied as a stand alone VTCT Unit.

What is the VTCT Unit Professional Skincare and Facials?

This qualification has been mapped to the relevant NOS, and is regulated on the Regulated Qualifications Framework.
This qualification is approved and supported by the Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Authority (HABIA), the standard setting body for hair, beauty, nails and spa qualifications.

A VTCT Unit is a subject studied separately that forms part of the full VTCT NVQ level 2 beauty therapy diploma. It is for those students who would like a pathway to Facials, Electrical Facial Equipment and Facial Aesthetics.

Is a VTCT Unit the same as an NVQ

Both are accredited by the VTCT. The VTCT Unit Professional Skincare and Facials is for those students who do not wish to do a FULL NVQ. The AATT offer a FAST TRACK course of 2 days at our Academy. Extensive resources are also provided for home study. There is a Whatsapp support group for student support.

Do I need any previous experience?

No, there are no pre-requisites to enrolling onto this course

Can I book a date to suit me?

Yes, since 2003 The AATT have bespoked dates to suit their students weekdays and weekends. We appreciate that you have life commitments and therefore give you the opportunity to request dates that suit you,

What do I need to do to complete a VTCT Unit?

You will need to do the following:

Attend Classes
Produce an assignment
Perform Assessments
Complete Multiple-choice Exam Papers

During your course, you will be observed by an IQA and may be requested to be seen by an EQA

Do I need to provide Models?

The AATT provide Models but also welcome you to bring your own.

The Angel Academy of Teaching and Training is a really great place to learn beauty therapy. It has very calm ambience and Deborah Kelly, the founder and teacher of the academy is such and amazing personality!
