What is Dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is a method of full face hair removal (peach fuzz) and deep cleansing & exfoliation. It is a non-invasive treatment that leaves the skin bright and smooth.
It helps to heal acne, pitted skin, wrinkles, uneven skin tone and other imperfections. By sloughing off the top epidermal layer, a new fresh skin texture is achieved. Bringing comodones clearly to the surface, they are easily extracted.
Using a specific blade at a 45 degree angle, this treatment carries very little downtime, but aftercare should be given to achieve the best results.
The treatment is performed mostly on the face but can be given on other parts of the body.
The Dermaplaning Course is accredited by CA and CPD Governing Bodies and is fully Insurable. Our affiliates offer discount codes for those students who book with us here at The AATT
This is a ONE day course which is fully certified and insurable. The AATT will bespoke dates to suit our students needs and requirements. Since 2003 we have created dates to cater for our students needs and will train you with private dates, one to one training, in-house salon training and special needs requirements.

If you do not find dates that suit you, we will create extra dates to suit you, weekdays or weekends.
This is a 1 day accredited course with lessons at The AATT. There is an option to complete a Virtual course where you will complete your theory via our online portal (when your booking is received you will receive student log in details. Your Practical will be conducted live on Google Meets where a demonstration will be given by your tutor. You will then be observed performing a treatment. You also have an option to study this subject as an online course. All resources, instructional video and test completion are available once you book and log into your student portal.
If our attend lessons at our Academy you will treat and be treated without the need for a model. Before attending the course please allow any vellus hair to grow on your face.
With the Virtual lesson you will need to perform your observation on your own model. For Online courses, a model is not required.

A fully certifiable qualification from ABT or CA. Both are nationally recognised. You are taught at an Internationally recognised level so that if you wish to upgrade your qualification to a VTCT or NVQ, we offer a 3 year window of opportunity for you to do this.
