This amazing course will cover all aspects of performing the multitude of electrical facials now available in salons today. The Academy is fortunate to have its owner, Deborah Kelly, as a professional trainer for several companies which allows her to have the machines with full approval to use them, which means that 1000’s of pounds worth of equipment is available for students to practice with. The Electrical Facial Course will cover the following:
Faradic (EMS)
The great thing about this treatment is that the client lies on the couch and the muscles are exercised for them. So for those of us who do not enjoy physical exercise this is the answer. The treatment involves pads strapped to the area to be treated. The pads deliver a low faradic current into the skin and muscles stimulating nerve ending to provide a muscle contraction.
Galvanic Treatment
This facial treatment is often applied by using metal probe sliding over the skin with a specialized serums or ampules. The serum or lotion has two purposes:
1.To make the facial metal probe slide smoothly over your face
2.The lotion or serum contains nutrition that can be absorbed by your skin using the galvanic machine
Cleansing Step or Desincrustation
The first treatment is designed to deep cleanse the pores of the skin and degrease oily areas.
Nutrition Step or Iontophoresis
The second treatment involves the re-balancing of the skin from oily to dry including sensitive. Now you need to apply a serum or organic lotion with rich vitamins. Depending on type of serum, it will help to re-balance, normalize and hydrate the skin.
