DERMAL FILLER FOUNDATION COURSE
This course introduces students to a pathway of aesthetics. Learning how to use a variety of dermal fillers to achieve successful results.
Dermal fillers, also known as injectable implants, OR wrinkle fillers are medical grade and approved by the FDA. They are used to achieve a smoother, filled and fuller appearance to the face, in areas such as the nasolabial folds, the cheek (zygomaticus) and the lips (cupids bow or vermilion border), Smile lines (marionette lines), bunny lines (nose) for nasal definition and full face liquid face lifting.
Treatment Process:
Semi Permanent dermal fillers are administered professionally using a needle or cannula when injecting. Products vary in lifespan from 3 months to 18 months. Hyaluronic Acid Fillers have been shown to stimulate collagen synthesis in the skin, slowing down the aging process. The treated area can be numbed in advance using Emla. Several brand leaders in fillers add lidocaine to their product which increases comfort whilst injecting, for your client.
